As a part of the Tianjin Juilliard Pre-College core curriculum, Chamber Music is one of the most popular classes among students. It is designed to help students build better interpersonal and collaborative skills, broaden their understanding of music, and provide them with the opportunity to learn how to respect, encourage, and listen to each other. Juilliard is proud to present “Little Folk-Song Serenade,” a collaboration between our campuses in New York and Tianjin China sponsored by Bank of China U.S.A. in honor of its 40th Anniversary of operations in the United States in November 2021. Composed by Juilliard alumni and Tianjin Juilliard faculty member Niccolo Athens, “Little Folk-Song Serenade” celebrates our shared commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding between our two nations.
