Public EducationMusic Development Program – Piano

Pianist Lin Ye is an artist with the Sarasota Artist Alliance in the U.S. and a signed artist with the European classical music label KNS Classical. Lin has won international competitions, including but not limited to: First Prize at the Anton Rubinstein International Piano Competition, First Prize at the Chopin International Piano Competition (USA), First Prize at the Troisdorf International Piano Competition, and First Prize at the High Point International Piano Competition. In 2018, Ye won third place at the prestigious Rina Sano Gallo International Piano Competition in Italy, where he received high praise and performance invitations from Ashkenazy.

In recent years, Ye performed across the globe, gracing stages such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Merkin Concert Hall in New York, Zipper Hall in Los Angeles, Mixon Hall in Cleveland, Hong Kong City Hall, and Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing. He has also collaborated with renowned orchestras such as Italy's Verdi Philharmonic, the Xiamen Philharmonic, the Wratislavia Orchestra of Poland, and the New York Artists Philharmonic. In 2020, Ye Lin released his debut solo piano album Dawn and Dusk with KNS Classical, which won him the "Best Solo Piano Album of the Year" at the European Young Musicians Award.

At the age of 14, Ye was accepted into the Junior Talent Program at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, where he was awarded the German National Scholarship and he graduated with distinction, earning both his bachelor's and master's degrees. In August 2016, he began pursuing an Artist Diploma at the Cleveland Institute of Music under the guidance of Italian pianist Antonio Pompa-Baldi, and he completed the program in May 2018.
