Public EducationMusic Development Program – Piano

Yixuan Wei has studied in both the United States and Canada. She held her concert at Carnegie Hall in New York at the age of 16 as a featured artist. She has also won numerous championships in music competitions, both domestically and internationally, such as the First Prize in the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition, the championship in the New York Metropolitan International Piano Competition, and the First Prize in the United States Open Music Competition. 

Wei started learning piano with her father at the age of 5 and entered the Central Conservatory of Music Middle School in Beijing at the age of 11. In 2015, she was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music as an outstanding professional student. That same year, she was also accepted by seven conservatories in the United States with full scholarships. 

In 2021, she graduated with bachelor's and master's degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music in the United States, and in 2023, she graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto as the top student with a full scholarship, obtaining an Artist Diploma in piano performance.
