The Tianjin Juilliard School and Tianjin Concert Hall are pleased to present the City Sounds concert series, running from March to August 2025. The series will feature eight performances at the Tianjin Concert Hall, spotlighting Tianjin Juilliard students from Graduate Studies, Pre-College, Public Education, and participants of this year’s Tianjin Juilliard Piano Festival. Audiences can enjoy a diverse lineup of recitals, chamber music concerts, chorus concerts, and more. By bringing classical music to communities beyond campus through special programming and accessible ticket pricing, Tianjin Juilliard aims to foster a dynamic, inclusive musical community across the city. This series is also supported by Tianjin Haihe Media Center.
This collaboration introduces an innovative model merging education, artistic practice, and public service. It reflects Juilliard’s mission of cultivating the “Artist as Citizen” while reimagining how music education can revitalize urban culture. Through collaborations with educational institutions, arts venues, and media, we aim to deepen Tianjin Juilliard’s connection with audiences in the city, offering a richer understanding of our work and inspiring experiences. Through music and community events, we strive to make the "Sounds of the City" come alive for everyone!
