The Tianjin Juilliard School announces its first residency in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, collaborating with the Xinghai Concert Hall to present the Tianjin Juilliard x Xinghai Concert Hall Spring Music Festival 2026. From March 23 to 29, a group of more than 100 artists—including Tianjin Juilliard resident faculty, graduate students, and alumni—will travel to Guangzhou and bring its world-class performance and educational resources to the local audience.
This residency features three major concerts featuring the Tianjin Juilliard Ensemble, Tianjin Juilliard Orchestra, and QingXin Ensemble. Beyond the performances, faculty and students will engage with the city through master classes, workshops, and outdoor performances.
Following the activities in Guangzhou, the school will present a special performance at the Hong Kong Palace Museum on March 31.
At Tianjin Juilliard, we believe in the power of artistic excellence to transcend borders and foster deeper understanding across cultures. This season, we are expanding our performance spaces to bring world-class concerts to audiences beyond our campus. This collaboration with Xinghai Concert Hall allows us to build a wider and closer connection with the Greater Bay Area, making Juilliard’s artistic community more accessible than ever.
