Performance Training Programs offer professional and pre-professional musicians the opportunity to hone their skills through workshops, courses, and programs offered in a variety of performance areas. Participants will have the privilege of working with renowned artists, including Tianjin Juilliard faculty, with access to Tianjin Juilliard's state-of-the-art facilities and world-class music education resources.
Performer’s Certificate Program
Performer’s Certificate Program is offered to students who wish to gain further experience and hone their skills as performers. The program is offered in Instrumental Studies and Collaborative Piano.
Enrichment for Practicing Musicians (EPM) is for adult practicing musicians wishing to enhance overall musicianship while developing their ability to communicate socially and professionally in English. EPM is a 3-level curriculum of general English with a musical focus that emphasizes listening, speaking and vocabulary development in English. The overall aim of EPM is to assist learners to be more confident and able to communicate comfortably with others in the musical community such as Tianjin Juilliard's international roster of faculty-in-residence, staff and peers in the orchestra.
Vocal Institute aims to create a unique ecosystem in which practitioners, students and aficionados of the vocal arts can learn, appreciate and promote the art form from grassroots to professional levels in China.
Professional Development Program (PDP) offers professional musicians, teachers, and scholars the opportunity to gain knowledge in the areas of music pedagogy, orchestral studies, chamber music, and vocal coaching skills through observational and participatory activities with the Tianjin Juilliard School.
Teacher Training Programs are designed to provide professional development and upskilling workshops and courses for music educators, ranging in topics from kindergarten and primary school general music education, instrumental pedagogy, and vocal coaching, among others.
Primary and Middle School
Music Teacher Training include a series of workshops designed for music teachers and aims to provide trainees with practical classroom techniques and activities that can easily be applied in their lesson planning and teaching.
