Overview
Tianjin Juilliard Piano Festival offers a vibrant environment where pianists are inspired by the highest levels of music making throughout the program. The festival invites the world’s finest master teachers and an exceptional group of young pianists ages 8-26 in master classes and performances.
This year, the festival launches the Piano Immersion Camp which is designed for young pianists who are preparing to study abroad or participate in international competitions.

Designed for highly advanced piano students, teachers, and enthusiasts, Piano Immersion Camp offers an enriching blend of observations, workshops, lectures, as well as opportunities for consultative lessons.

Specialized Master Lecture Series:
Developed exclusively for the Piano Immersion Camp, TJPF artists and Tianjin Juilliard faculty will give lectures and workshops on a variety of piano-related topics, including:
- Musical Topics: Our faculty will delve into the piano master works to provide a deeper understanding.
- Developing the Artist: Learn expert techniques to develop resilience and a positive mindset as a pianist.
- Networking: The Piano Immersion Camp offers an incredible opportunity to meet and connect with peers from around the world.
- Conservatories: Learn about various overseas programs and an in-depth analysis of application essentials.
- International Competitions: Preparation strategies, repertoire selection, and other insights from competition jury members.
- Meet the Artists: Moderated question and answer with renowned artists Tony Siqi Yun (week 1) and Lang Lang (week 2).
- Consultative Lessons: Register for a 60-minute lesson with members of the Tianjin Juilliard piano faculty. (Limited availability, extra fees apply)
All Participants receive a Certificate of Participation.

Eligibility
The minimum age for participation is 8 years old as of August 1, 2026.
All participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian who must register as a Piano Immersion Camp Guardian.

Application Timeline
Application opens March 14, 2026. Rolling admission until all spots are filled.
Application closes July 1, 2026.

| Refund Policy |
| For cancellation requests submitted on or before May 1, 2026, a 100% refund of the paid fees will be issued; |
| For cancellation requests submitted on or before June 1, 2026, a 50% refund of the paid fees will be issued. |
| For cancellation requests submitted on or before July 1, 2026, a 25% refund of the paid fees will be issued. |
| After July 1, 2026, no refund requests will be accepted. |
In the event that the activity cannot be held as scheduled due to force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, governmental actions, or social anomalies), the relevant parties shall be exempt from corresponding responsibilities.
Tianjin Juilliard reserves the right of final interpretation of this event.
Additional Information
- Once the application is successfully submitted, the application fee is non-refundable.
- The tuition does not include travel, housing, and meals which are the responsibility of each participant. A list of local hotels will be shared with accepted participants.
- International students are welcome to apply. Please note, Tianjin Juilliard cannot assist in acquiring visas for Piano Festival participants.
