Xinyang Lv is the cellist of the MILA Quartet, the inaugural graduate chamber music fellowship quartet of The Tianjin Juilliard School.
As a chamber music enthusiast, Lv participated in the Juilliard String Quartet Seminar, the Gong Hanxiang Chamber Music Symposium, and was shortlisted for the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition and the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition in 2023. Lv has been awarded the third prize of Great Wall International Music Academy Chamber competition 2013, the second prize of International Players of Busan 2014, and the grand prize winner of the Singapore International Solo & Ensemble Competition.
As a teacher, Lv has joined the Ear Training and Chamber Music Intensive faculty of The Tianjin Juilliard Pre-College, and as a guest teacher at Shanghai Tech University in 2023.
Lv was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music in 2013 and received her bachelor's degree in 2017. From 2017-2020, she joined the Central Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra. She graduated from The Tianjin Juilliard School with a major in instrumental and chamber music studies in 2022. Lv’s primary teachers include the Shanghai Quartet, Yeonjin Kim, Mingqing Yu, and Lixing Jiang.
