Program Content

Tianjin Juilliard’s Professional Development Program (PDP) offers professional musicians, teachers, and scholars a customized experience based on the participant’s learning objectives and musical level. Programs can be focused on instrumental or classroom pedagogy, orchestral studies, chamber music, collaborative piano, vocal coaching skills, and a Vocal Institute for singers, through observational and participatory activities with the Tianjin Juilliard Graduate School and Pre-College.

Working closely with TJS’s stellar international faculty, PDP participants learn directly from master teachers in an enriching and culturally diverse environment.

The PDP is a non-degree program that can vary in length from a few days to a full semester.

Program Fees

Programs are customized to suit the learning objectives of the participant, therefore the length of each program will vary. The fees are assessed on a weekly basis and can range between RMB 1,500 - 11,000 per week.

Eligibility

PDP is intended for professional musicians, music teachers, and scholars. Acceptance to the program will be based on an application, interview, and performance audition, if applicable.
